Safety During COVID-19
Dear Patient,
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, our commitment to your safety and well-being remains our top priority. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Lankenau is also screening patients when they enter the hospital in addition to taking their temperatures. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made the following changes in our practice to help protect our patients and employees:
- New safety equipment including Purevac HVC evacuation systems,
Medify air purifiers with heppa/carbon filters and ultraviolet disinfecting wands - Antibacterial and antiviral rinses
- Website paperwork and touchless payment options with appointment management
to allow for social distancing between patients - Hand sanitizer when entering the office and backdoor exiting availability
- Personal protection equipment (PPE) including seal checked N95 masks,
shields, goggles and disposable safety gowns for our clinical staff
